Off a roundabout the other nightwith traction off, overcooked it and clipped the kerb with the nearside rear.... It really didn't drive well, so onto a low-loader. I really didn't think it was that much of a bang, but better safe thatn sorry.

Just had the call from teh dealers with a quote .....

£5600!!!! complete new rear suspension, new diff, wheel, tyre

That'll teach me to turn traction off when I'm not concentrating properly!

I creased my rear door and sill in a car park the other day - they reckon £2500 to repair!!!!

Finally got it back after a mere 3 n half weeks...

Oh what a joy it is to be back in a quick car after a Pug 206.

They didn't have to replace the diff after all, and the way I figure it, I had to get two new tyres for the back anyway, so my excess covers that. My only concern is that they only replaced the bushes and shock on one side, so I'll see if the handling varies from side to side over the next few days.
