ABS

My '99 328i MTec gets its ABS rocking when I brake going over the slightest bump. No matter how much it happens just never been able to get used to it, ABS that is. I know it helps safer driving and everything but does anyone else dislike ABS? I'm not sure that I like the idea of not being in full control of the car. Supposed I'll just have to get used to it.
