Dead Speedo ....

My E30 M3 speedo died on the way home from Silverstone. The rest of the dash works fine but the speedo, trip and mileometer don't work. Any ideas?

We had exactly the same prob on our G Plate 3 Tourer, some years ago..

Never got to the bottom of the problem as we got rid of the car... We figured the car new it was being sold so started giving up! (well, mother did, but she's a touch on the mad side!)

Guess it could only be cable related..

I had the speedo stop working on my E30 and it was due to the sensor which locates into the differential having broken. I had that replaced and it now works fine.
