Should be a nice drive of this weather holds. ![rolleyes](/inc/images/rolleyes.gif)
Came home via the M1/M62; much easier/smoother and only 17miles further...

Was a busy drive over Sam; lots of roadworks and bikers that sped past you at serious speeds, on blind bends.. Bloody stupid TBH - 2 near collisions on front of us and one by the cafe at Ladybower; police bikes were there, so we get held up in that too... ![rolleyes](/inc/images/rolleyes.gif)

That’s a shame. ![rolleyes](/inc/images/rolleyes.gif)

When it’s clear it’s a great road. It’s hot spot for the police these days unfortunately but that’d because of the brain doners taking liberties.

Nice upgrade. ![cool](/inc/images/cool.gif)
I keep meaning to ditch the RFTs on my E85, but they've got so much tread (I don't cover many miles), it seems v wasteful! I do hear that the difference is genuinely night and day on the Z4 (it made a decent difference on my 630i).
They definitely (or lack thereof) make a big difference.![cool](/inc/images/cool.gif)

Like yourself i got rid of them on my 630i but i remember on the Z4 Coupe my wife bought new, we swapped out the RFTs when worn and the difference was amazing.

Not a road I'm interested in going across again in any hurry TBH

Something to think about for the summer...oh and sort out the roof!

The Z4 has an especially hard ride. And IME these Bridgestone RE050A (which I also had on the E91) aren't the best.

Yeah the Z4 ride is definitely in the firm side of acceptable even with the RFT’s in the bin.Something to think about for the summer...oh and sort out the roof!
I’m still chasing me tail with the Z4; I’ve replaced the blown fuse in the engine bay box but the check engine light keeps coming on along with the four codes for the O2 sensors.
I think I’m going to have to admit defeat and see if someone can look at it but the usual Indy is booked up until 23rd July!

Not a coil pack on its way out then.
I'm convinced its something to do with the intake manifold side; i.e. where I've been taking parts off. The indy that I spoke to yesterday thinks that there is a slight air leak somewhere but there's nothing that I can see obviously wrong. Hopefully they'll be able to find it easily enough.Deep Thought said:

Picked my Z4M Coupe up from Ross at RBM Hampshire after an Inspection 1 service, new front discs, calipers and pads and a new A/C drive belt.
One of the discs had overheated because of a sticking caliper.![frown](/inc/images/frown.gif)
Hmmm. An expensive day, i'd imagine. One of the discs had overheated because of a sticking caliper.
