Bitterly regret, even after 3 years, selling my 318is.From the second I watched her disappear down the road I wished I had not sold the car. And within 3 weeks the bloke I sold her too crashed it.
And he never got it repaired because he only had third party insurance. So for the best part of 3 years the car has sat unloved on an industrial estate in Stoke on Trent.
He refused too sell the car back to me & now I have lost his phone number!!!
Need another E36 on my drive to replace my hated Renault.

It is. The E36 (4 door) was 4433mm long and 1960mm wide with mirrors (for reference a VW Polo is 1964mm wide). I am sure the M2 can be checkedWidth: 1710mm (Not including door mirrors)

I still have my one owner 99 Evo Cab Manual in Dakar Yellow now on 67K with FSH and history file with every mot and old tax disc's (what are them) it sits proudly next to my 840 and Z3MC in the same colour just wish I could get it out and use it with the lovely weather were having right now... but

Due to threads like this from nearly three years ago many have realised that the E36 can be a modern classic and have bought one - hence "before its too late".
It would be a shame these could become a higher priced collectable rather than a working mans achievable everyday rear wheel drive fun motor. It can also make some second hand parts more expensive for us current owners.
Thankfully a lot of possible E36 beemer buyers are looking at fast large engined one series cars now, or obsessing over e46 M3's.
