Test drove a red teg today.
Wow what a car. Tested a civic type r yesterday. It seemed dull and unsensational in comparison.

So pesty, we have something in common at last.!!

Have you opted for the old DC2 version or the rather nice looking new version DC5?

the older DC2 .
Mainly because of cost but also the reviews of that car were better. Plus I got it from a dealer and its mint.

Lovely motor, I had an old Championship White DC2 'Teg and loved it. You'll have great fun in that.

you will love it.

I was dissapointed with mine at first but after a few months I realised how fantastic it is.

ps the car is very sensetive to tyres.

My car had Bridgstone S02's on and I thought it was just amasing. Couldnt get hold of those so put BF goodrich on. which have ruined the steering.

Car should be even better with RE 010 origonal fitted tyres which have a very stiff sidewall.

Cheers. Really happy with it.
I do notice an odd whine though. The dealer told me that the LSDs in tegs are all noisy and its normal.
Is this BS?. Its under Honda warranty, so I am not too worried.
The whine is not gear or accelerative sensitive. I notice it even if its coasting under no power in neutral.
Cant seem to find and links or queries.
Help much appreciated.

mine makes all sorts of noises. There is hardly any sound profing so you hear lots of mechanicle sounds.

Can't say Ive noticed a whine though when moving but mine makes a whine when idling
