Just had a good look at an MR2 that was being sold in Sheffield (the seller was the DJ in the pub next to Leadmill) and it was very informative.
Basically it was black, an import car but not a turbo, and the guy seemed very genuine. I don't think I'm interested as it was the Rev1 (G reg) so the balance bias I have been informed about and it wasnt a T-bar that I fancy.
However, its given me my first real look at an MR2 and I'm convinced that I want one. If anybody else is interested in this particular car then send me an e-mail and I'll give you his number... it really did look like it was well looked after.

The Rev1's really aren't that bad. They did have a reputation for snap oversteer, and suspension revisions were made to Rev2+ cars to fix this. However, many of the afficionados prefer the sharper turn in of the Rev1. I've never heard of the engine being moved, but I do know that the rear suspension was definately changed (and a Rev1 can be retro-fitted with Rev2 parts if you want to).
Worst bit about the Rev1 IMO was the brakes which were a marginal for a turbo (hence the increase to bigger brakes and 15" wheels for Rev2+).
