mods for my WRX STI
Discussion
Engine mods is what I'm going for!
Induction kit.
Bigger turbo.
Front mounted intercooler.
Stainless steel manifold.
Stainless steel cat back system.
Twin piston dump valve or waste gate.
I'm kinda spoilt for choice
Any other things I could do with the engine??
Would be very happy for the help!

Clutch and bigger turbo 1st I think

Which will need remapping, and then if you do other mods they may need mapping in too, so probably not best just get a bigger turbo unless you are getting a good deal on lots of mapping sessions.

Also if you are changing the clutch it is much less labour if the engine is out otherwise if you plan to crack open the engine at a later date you will effectively be paying twice for the labour.
As said if its 2.5Ltr then about 350bhp on standard engine internals is your Max really If its a 2.0Ltr then they can run 400bhp all day long mines been running nearer 450bhp for the last 12k miles with no problems
Give Tracktive Solutions a call there in Melton Mowbray I can highly recommend this tuning company as they have carried out all the work on mine
Even with near 450 bhp the car still drives better than a stock car off boost and is smooth a town centre speeds
I went
Equal length headers
Race cat with 3" exhaust
Owen Developments turbo
RC 650cc injectors
Greddy front mount intercooler
inner wing induction with perrin big MAF pipe
Re-mapped by Richard Bulmer
Don,t forget you,ll need to upgrade the suspension and brakes if you do this
No good having power if the car cant handle it

The standard turbo will get you to about 340bhp. Then you'll have to change the pistons etc to be safe. Bigger turbo later then... Personally, I would:
Becca
Panel Filter
Sports cat downpipe (prodrive perhaps, or something good if yiou want to pass MOT)
Exhaust
Fuel Pump
Remap
Which should see 340bhp...
