Running the with the original 1.8 block with muchos modos.

The run was done at a track with an altitude of 5500ft.

In case you didn't catch it in the film the 1/4 time was 10.94sec with a trap speed of 139mph!

If it ran at the pod it would be closer to a 10 flat due to the altitude.

The track wouldn't let him do a second run without an eight point cage and fire suit!

He is a 21 year old guy who has done all the work himself. He runs a BIG turbo (SC61), haltech ecu, and a RX7 turbo transmission, amongst other goodies. The turbo doesn't spool up until 5000rpm! It runs at 28psi Which they reckon is good for 460rwhp.

Great fun, but kinda misses the point of the 5 in my book. Still bloody awesome though!
