Hi all,

Just wondering what thoughts you enthusiasts have regarding SVX's. Only asking because a friend of mine's father is about to sell his and asked my opinion as to its desirability. Couldn't offer any as I specialise in TVR.
Any advice will be greatfully recieved and passed on.
Thanks.

they are very nice cars but for all the power thgey ahve , they are not particualry fast, its a bit of a specialist market but they tend to hold thier value well becuase they are so rare

I'd tend to agree. Innovative, distinctive, extremely rare. But totally gutless. I seem to remember the 0-60 was somewhere in the 8's.

EDIT: By the power of Google, this web site might be a good place to look - www.subarusvx.com

A good cruiser... certainly more of a GT than a sports car though. Parts can be expensive (especially electrical gremlins) but engines are solid from what I know.

On a daily basis, the real pain are the front windows can be a pain as they only open a small amount...

I actually saw one of these for the first time just the other day. IMHO they don't seem special enough to make up for the ugliness.
