There are a few 600bhp MR2s capable of 11s, BTW. I'll have to dig out some URLs.

450 is nothing in mr2 they can handle it fine with coil overs and big disc conversion

Can't you just turn the switch up on the Hairdryer in the boot to 3?

Oh, I'm not thinking they can't handle the extra grunt - I just mean would they become a bit of a handful round town etc.

I've driven a 320bhp MR2, and it was 'involving'

(ing scary is a more accurate description).

But then I can't drive.....

Some guys in scotland have a 700-ish bhp MR2. Can't remember who but I'll post the link when I remeber.

Think it is more of a drag car so not sure they care about drivability etc.
