yesterday i had a go at replacing my cracked plastic back window on the mx5, all went well, i had a glass window to replace it with, and it looks great.
however, when we had to take out the old one it was secured by many nuts and bolts but also some pot rivets, we removed the pot rivets, but not owning a pot riveter (sp?) i couldnt do the new window, and to be honest with the nuts and bolts seemingly holding the new window in place very well, i couldnt figure out what the pot rivets were for, so it is pot rivetless at the moment. What do i need the pot rivets for?
i am hoping you guys are going to say it doesnt matter that they are not in there or else that is more expense

holes are already there, but its all been put back together now so i dont have any pics and i reckon it would take me a good hour to take it all back off again just to put the rivets in then another hour to put it all back together again.
thanks for the offer though, i'll try find out if i need to put the pot rivets back in though
