After waiting since November for the Skyline to arrive from Japan it is finally here. It is a GTR33 VSpec in Midnight Purple.
I managed to squash my two dogs in the back although I don`t think Wellington the greyhound is too keen on the noise level of the exhaust
I am thinking about fitting an Apexi intake system as the first modification.

B*STARD. UTTER UTTER B*STARD. I want one soooooooo bad it hurts. Would have got one too if I'd been offered the job I applied for rather than the position below.

Like the man says.......pics please.

Did you use a professional import company or sort it all out yourself (SVA etc etc)?

Yes I am going to try and take some photos tomorrow. I bought it from Japanese Vehicle Sourcing who are based near Edinburgh. I saw it back in November on their list of cars arriving soon. They sorted out all the SVA etc which was included in the price.
The only extra I had to pay for was for a Thatcham 1 alarm to be fitted and I also bought a years warranty.
Compared to the Viper to drive it is less bumpy and holds the road much better.
The main difference is when you boot it the Viper shifts immediately where in the Skyline you have to wait a split second for the twin turbos to kick in.
It`s all good.

Forget I called you a b*stard Shoebag.

B*TCH B*TCH B*TCH!!

So can you tell us how much it was/mileage/condition/standard/modded etc?

Sorry to be so nosey but as I previously pointed out, my desire is to the point of being painful!!

BTW, bought a DVD from Halfords the other day called, originally enough, GTR. basically 90mins of GTR's including a few laps round the Nordshcliefe(sp) in seriously modded road-going R34. Well worth a look if you're into GTR's.

edited to say I notice that you're also in Hants as well Shoebag........feel free to let me know when you're next vaguely around the Basingstoke area so I can see one of these beasts close-up in the flesh so to speak!

is it legal to put two dogs in the boot?

out of interest why do people call it GTR33? Surely its R33 GTR? (Maybe a question for gtr.co.uk? ) Otherwise mine's a GTST33MSpec...

Yes I have seen the GTR dvd in Halfords.

The Skyline hasn`t been modded (yet!)and is in excellent condition. It has done 42`000 miles and cost enough but I am reallly happy with it.

mmmmm, that's nice. does it have AWD, or is that when you get to the R34's? you should try to get some pics of the engine, cause i wanna see it...baaaad. unfortunatly, the closest thing i have over in the states is the infiniti G35. i'm not complaining, 'cept about the fact that i don't have one...

Congrats on the purchase, shoebag.

You might want to join www.gtr.co.uk/ forums/club - lots of friendly, and VERY informative/knowledgeable people on there.

Out of interest, how big are your two dogs? If their full size, how do you get them to fit in the boot?

My dogs are big. One is a greyhound and one is an elderly lurcher. Both are rescue dogs. They manage to lay on the back seat of the Skyline but half on top of each other really.

Centurion I have sent you an email about seeing my cars tomorrow if you want.

Is'nt it a bit rude to ask a girl how big her puppies are?

It isn't rude if you understood/understand the initial question. I could have said/asked dogs instead.
