Hi Di.

Oh dear! Very easy to do though! The cheapest way to fix this is to look up marine service agents in the yellow pages. They will be able to replace just the plastic part of the window. Loads of boats have placcy windows which get replaced fairly often.

Have you thought about upgrading to a glass one?

Glass would be be good, what are the costs and the ease of getting the top down with a glass window though?
I'm assuming i would have to remove it completely and hide it in the boot.

Nope, glass windows work exactly the same as placcy ones. Check ebay out, I think there are some on there at the moment.

Now Di, you have been unzipping your window haven't you??

Moss have the glass windows for £185, but I know that there are much cheaper options out there to be had!

I may have my old glass rear screen (I've got a Mohair hood now) available if you're interested. Someone else was meant to be buying it, but I'm not sure whether it's going to happen now. It's like the ones mx5parts sell, and is pretty easy to fit. Like Ben said, once fitted it works just like a plastic window (i.e. you have to unzip it ). Email me if you're interested.

Yup, it is, but its not a normal rear window panel, its from the Autohoods range, and its in Mohair, so it wouldn't be compatible with yours! Sorry!
