Quick MX5 question. Answer needed yesterday

Just went to put drivers window back up and motor turned but no movement of glass Is there a cable mechanism to connect the two? Is it easy and cheap to fix?

I am selling it tomorrow.

I will miss her (but only a little - got an Elise to replace)

The cable will have snapped, if you're lucky it won't have screwed the motor but don't try and wind the window until it is fixed.

Motor + cable is £130, cable on it's own is £30 (or something around that)

Both mine went on my MX5.
