CTR service, Castrol SLX oil any good?

Hi Folks

Just booked my CTR in for its first service and they say they're going to put Castrol SLX oil in it.

Is this any good?

It's the stuff BMW and Audi now recommend for their new cars......is it any good ? It's bloody expensive and thinner than Mobil 1...0w 30 I believe !!!

Thats the oil my local honda dealer said they use in the CTR for the 12000 service onwards.

They advised a different oil to use for topping up my CTR before that service is due to help the engine bed in better.
