Post '93 uk Mx5's are only 88bhp. Nothing is slower than them. All 1.6 Roadsters (imports) and pre '93 uk cars have 115bhp. Mk 2 1.6 has 110bhp and is tubbier, so will be slower.
The Mk 1 1.8 has 130bhp and the Mk 2 1.8 is approx 147bhp, so dont try and beat one of them off the lights!
Mine, however, as of next Saturday will have 230bhp at the wheels.
Which is nice.

Yeah I am Piers, but I think I am in France next week, so I might have to do the Deecember day instead!
I am actually picking it up tonight at 6.30 as Phil had some problems with the Air Temp sensor meaning it was just falling on its face whe comming into boost.
So watch out on the M40 tonight for the black boosted 5!
