Any one else slightly miffed by the anouncement of the new CTR, they say its slightly quicker with better handling.
So you are saying the manufacturer should not continue to improve a model once it's released?
I suppose not, sorry.
Actually, come to think of it, I wish they'd bring a V6 version out to rival the Clio V6. Could put the NSX engine in it, 4WD etc, etc...
Now that would be good
Shall we ask Honda to do us the Honours

I've actually not seen this announcement. What are the changes?
Can't remember everything off the top of my head but think it was lighter clutch and flywheel (shaving 0.2s of 0-62), 15mm lower, stiffer suspension (christ, if mine was any stiffer I'd lose my fillings) and a few exterior differences
There are first drive / preview type things in Autocar and Auto Express this week.
See http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/previews/previews_story.php?id=40552">www.autoexpress.co.uk/?http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/previews/previews_story.php?id=40552
Summary according to the article - 15mm lower and stiffer springs making it grippier but more harsh to drive (picture shows car lifting rear inside wheel like the Clio does), revised steering geometry and assistance giving heavier steering but still numb feel, lighter drivetrain with same power outputs (more free revving), new lights and bumpers, red seat bits and door trim and probably a few other things I've forgot to mention.
Same starting price at £16k.
According to Honda ther have been over 500 little tweaks.

Dosen't sound like anything radical was done, certainly nothing you couldn't add onto an existing model. Would agree about the suspension though, have been in a friends CTR and the suspension certainly seemed to be more than hard enough!
