Surrey Imprezas Getting Nicked

Friend of mine got stopped on the M25. Not for speeding, not for any offence but to check that he was the owner of his car and then he was warned that Imprezas are the vehicle of choice for ram raiding in Surrey at the moment and that he should keep his keys a safe distance from his letterbox!

Imprezas have always been at the top of the theiving scums list of cars!

When I lived in Ilkley, the Golf GTi I had then was stolen from outside the house and used in a ram raid overnight, then dumped on the first tee of the local golf course (haha, most amusing chaps ) with extensive rear damage, the engine still running and fire extinguisher foam all over the interior what's more, they nicked my favourite Van Halen cassette. Barstewards. So lock up those Scoobies, guys and gals.

i remember seeing a police camera action style program, where some ram raiders got "their" car stuck in the shop and couldnt get out. they had to wait till the police came with the fire brigade to get them out.
