anyone doing a reasonable daily commute in their 350z? what MPG figures are you getting?

my mates averages 20mpg around down and fun blasts... my other mate recons hes got over 32 in his on a long steady run smile

on my 35 mile commute at .8 ish leptons i was getting 26 mpg in the Z4M, i would hope the 350 would be marginally better?

used to do a 40 mile commute in my zed. motorway, dual carrigeway and a couple of opportunities for full throttle.

Used to get a regular 26-27mpg out of her, sometimes more on longer trips.

For such a big motor, they are suprisingly economical and cruise very well- they are a GT car after all.

30+ mpg is possible, but id say unlikely really on a daily basis, although your driving style could differ considerably from mine!

Hi Pete, I do around 1750 miles per month which includes a commute of around 50 miles a day and the computer says I get 27.5 per gallon. Iv'e never actually worked it out but i'm getting around 350 miles for about £65. This is on A roads sat at 50 - 70 as well as some twistys with my foot down.

The 350z is a good GT, quite comfy and can still be good fun.

I have to admit that I never got more than about 27 on a long motorway run and that was actively trying to get the best possible mpg (60 mph, minimal braking and accelerating). Average was more like 23 on a combined cycle and round town in traffic 17.

45 ish miles per day, rural A, B, and back roads, mainly at off-peak times, generally 'sensible' speeds = trip computer reading 31.somethingorother. Actual calculated mpg (distance travelled vs gallons to fill tank) = 29 ish mpg.

350 mile plus commute every few weeks and normally get 30 mpg plus as not in a hurry. Rural local driving ( third gear ) mid to low teens as its fun.

Looks nice. You might want to get some parking sensors fitted.... Make sure it has the 9000 mile service done by a main dealer and I would push very hard on the price as used values of Z's are in freefall at the moment.
