I've had my P1 since new and it's been totally reliable and a remarkable way to get from a to b (or from a to a in the case of track days!). And the 2-door body still attracts attention. I'm smitten with the RB320 though. Has any P1 owner driven the recent cars? What's the conclusion?

I had a my99 uk turbo for nearly 3 years, and tried out 3 P1's before changing to my new my03 sti. The P1 as I'm sure you're aware is a very quick, light and responsive motor. However, it is still a classic scooby, and the build and fitment is a league above in the newage cars.

Your collection isn't so bad either! Angry looking is about right, but I am investigating the cost of part-ex-ing it for a Roadster, which won't look quite so angry! Was thinking about a Gallardo Spyder, but living 5 days a week in London and spending half the year racing and spannering on the racer, I can't justify (even to myself) yet another car. So, I'm thinking of sacrificing the purity of the coupé's style for the advantage of the drop-top. Depends what the deal is.
