Out with old in with the not quite so new
I'm currently spannering the old drift bus for the 2007 season
Out comes the old 2.0L 6 pot 1G-GTE that has so been so uber reliable all year it's silly
284bhp was frankly not enough
In comes the mother of all Toymota monsters the 2.5 6 pot 1JZ-GTE
She'll be breathed upon with a big single Turbo of some description thankyou Mr Universal-Turbo's a Prolex ECU, big injectors, big intercooler, and probably some laughing gas for fun. Plan is to have a useable 400bhp with 500bhp available if required. These engines are renowned for being bombproof even at those bhp figures on standard internals, though a decent twin plate clutch will be needed though
Anyone any good at wiring? lol
