Had a quick chat with one of the moderators - if we can generate enough interest we can launch a Nissan 350Z forum.

Please add you interest to this thread to see if we have enough takers... thanks

(I'm a convert from the TVR fraternity.... nice not to have to book the AA man in advance when I take the Z out!)

Not quite yet a Z owner (one test drive only so far), but a section for them would be useful for me. Still looking to get rid of the type r and get something a bit more relaxing so more info owners can give me in their own section the better.

Perhaps a forum for Nissan in general rather than just 350Z would be better? including Skyline, 200SX, 300ZX, etc.

I'm not a Nissan owner and personally would be happy to have everything still together in Japchat, but its another idea...

Can I suggest having a look at www.350zukownersclub.com/ in the mean time, it's from there that I actually found here. We are the UK owners club with ties to NMGB and traders.

Sorry to encroach on here but our site is dedicated to the Z and there are a large number of owners on there.

Personally one of the main reason I like this forum is ( apart from the lack of Chavs) That everyone is under the same banner. I read things about other Jap cars I would not normally, and find a great many very interesting.

why? there are already about 5x too many forums as it is...its not as if nissan topics get dumped off the bottom of the page because of the deluge of new posts each day?

Whats wrong with Jap chat? Used to be a nice place, where people with all sorts of nice motors would come in, and there would be no slagging off, etc. Now you want segregation. Did South Africa mean nothing? Did their toil, and strife come to nothing, and you want to seperate ecveryone, into there own pigeon hole? You are a nazi I tell ya..A NAZI!!!!

imho

Actually, I agree very much with this. I think jap chat is one of the only forums where people seem to get on, depsite all driving very different cars. No segregation for Jappers! (I don't even have a Jap car anymore!)

(My previous post started very serioulsy, but just got sillier, but in essence I was telling the truth!)

There are also forums at www.350z-uk.com which I have found very useful. I agree with keeping the japchat together as I too enjoy reading about the other models represented in here.
