That'd explain why it was so dark. All he had to do to get that effect was let off the brakes, wind down the window and shout "HIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSS".

Personally, i think it was that the car was ststionary and teh torque actually reversed the earths spin, creating said effect.

MrFlibbls, expanding on your idea, I don't suppose anyone here is young enough to have seen the episode of Futurama where it turns out that the spaceship doesn't accelerate forwards through space, but that it acclerates space backwards. the car remains stationary while the earth moves under it.

I think they are the same car Gaz, a guy called Marko who used to work with Sound Performance, but is on his own now AFAIK. Keans is a long way from a street car nowdays.
