That looked like Crail, though i maybe wrong. And IIRC, the last i heard that skyline was down a bit in price from £50,000

Definitely a 'lot of bang for yer buck' car.

Does it belong to Tim Webster? The Skyline nut who's selling all his cars, an R32 track car, a Top Secret R33, A Nur Spec R34 and the Jun R33.

The guy that owns it is called something Begley??

He also runs a 650bhp Supra.

Thats not gonna be in the new series is it??

Cos I recognise the tune at the beginning (the wooshy sound effect noise) from his earlier video's??

Awesome car though, shame he didn't say what it did the 1/4 mile in.

If its the car i think it is, and i may be wrong, it ran 9 secs in Japan but never managed lower than a 10 in the UK

The car's quickest time in Japan was a 10.1.

Mick equalled that time in the UK at TOTB 5 this year.

He is running the car at Japshow at Santa Pod this weekend - hopefully it'll go quicker as he's had a little bit more work done and it's now producing more hp and torque ... is on boost 700rpm earlier and now revs to 8200.

Mick has owned the Lemon for quite a long time now (having bought it from Tim) and has developed the car significantly since he's owned it.

I'm good mates with Mick ... so get to know what's going on with the car.

Educated guesswork...

4WD transmission losses are a killer at high speed, skyline aerodynamics inspired by a brick wall, Supra gearing maybe better matched to the job...

There's a fair amount of things that could be helping it. What are the relative masses? Are they using the same material/size/construction tyres?

Doesn't the skyline have fancy pants 4wd that sort of turns off when not needed?

Just thought you guys might appreciate some more hard-tune GT-R vids. Love 'em!!! I've got (as in links for hehe I wish I "got" these!!) two Veilsides (one is their '32 drag monster, which does 0-300 km/h in 13.7 seconds (!!!!!), the other their R34 in NZ) and a Top Secret '33. Gotta love Smokey (Nagata)!
