I've always wondered- I presume garages have to pay to dispose of your old oil, so I presume they pass the cost on to you?

Enviro Disposal...£3.90.

The oil on its own was £37.65!!

The rest was made up from:Motor flush/Fuel Cleaner(after 1000K?) Filter & Vat.

Don't moan too much. I just got Porsche to change the oil in the 911. 11 litres of Mobil 1. £130.

PLus labour.

I used to do that with my scooby. However because I was not able to stand there and watch them use it I was never sure weather one of the mechanics would just put in any old shite and use the M1 I supplied in their own cars.

I ended up changing it myself again afterwoods.(I dont trust anyone regarding cars these days after so many bad experiences)

We all need help...! I would have thought the same. I'd be worried they put chip fat in my car and sold the Mobil on Ebay.....!!
