If my car makes almost 550bhp @ 1.36 bar, does this mean I will make 800bhp if I wind the boost up a bit salesman.........

Oh look at the engine picture too

sorry guys I was taking the p1ss. I struggle to believe 0.5bar is worth 250bhp.

Gaz I don't personally think a T04Z, which is basically the same specs as a T67 P trim, is capable of the BHP.

Also guys it's clearly an NA thats been converted. Price seems high to me.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasted_s

Motec, Autronic etc use wasted spark. I am not sure why Mr Toyota switched for the VVTi from what was an excellent coil on plug setup.

Having changed a silencer for a streight-through and seen a 70bhp gain and running less boost than before (before: twin hitachi turbos; after: single Turbonetics T70) but making more power I'm not sure what to believe about boost and power

Even less sure on these boingy things!

Boost pressure only means that your engine can't flow whatever CFM the turbo is dishing out (of course, that's why it's there in the first place, but you get the point - make the engine flow more efficiently and boost pressure will drop given the same air volume from the turbo)...

Just the silenced mid-pipe removed so far for a far less silenced pipe, the back box might make a little more difference but not to peak power (see other thread!).
