Considering getting Impreza Wagon next year, not sure which one - R Sport (wifey insist it) or WRX version (I want it !!).

So I expect running R Sport will be cheaper than WRX's, Me and my wife will be 28 next year and 5 years NCB with no speeding conviction etc. So how much will insurance cost on both model? what thing to look out for.

Thanks

Insurance varies greatly with companies, depending on where you live etc.

Try getting yourself some dummy quotes.

Yep, done that via Tesco's insurance

R sport - £337
WRX - £612

So Basically WRX is twice more than R Sport but is it worth it?

I'd say so. Why not pop over to you local subaru dealer and get a test drive? I can guarantee that after test driving both you won't be interested in the r sport anymore.

Bear in mind that Subaru is giving away up to £3k in fuel vouchers with new cars at the moment.

Worked for me. I knew I had her when she started giggling as she accelerated off roundabouts

Yep it is worth it! I have had an impreza WRX for 3 weeks now but car had to go back to dealer for some scratches to be removed. I now have the 2.0R sport and it feels lifeless compared to the WRX. It also sounds rough compared to the WRX.

Try A Plan for insurance, very competitive on my WRX STI.
