I test drove one back in 1998 - now I should have bought it then , but hey I didn't.
Does anyeone know much about these cars ? I imagine that now with the esva I am going to struggle to import one but you never know... hence why I am asking.

Be good to hear from anyone who has seen one for sale etc

Try one of the import places then, you will likely need to import one second hand, they aren't all that common so it will be a hard slog and then will need to track down parts as well..

Or else there is the replacement for the Storia X4, wonderfully named as only the Japanese can...

i have Daihatsu yrv 130 turbo{they brought them through there dealers} ,i went to the Daihatsu stand at the motor show they have no plans yet to bring any hot hatch over i quite like the look of car the last posters picture.The Yrv 130 turbo is very stealthy and i think it is quicker than it looks only problem is the brakes they stop well but they make alot noise and heat.on handling it is quite surprising good and has the same bridgstones as seen on alot of jap performance cars,0-60 is 8 seconds and has 1.3 turbo engine producing 130 bhp with an auto box it as change up light and if floor it it changes up at 7500 to reduce lag and you have steershift on the wheel for the twisties.so you just press the + button to change up -button to change down it it is quite fast in gear change.
