Can anybody give me some idea on service costs for an Evo 8 ?? Seen one advertised which seems very good value but have no idea about running costs as never had anything like that before. Any help appreciated. Also is the service sequenece ? i.e. A service,B serviec, etc,etc.....

Simon

This will give you a good idea:

It's not a cheap car to run, but I reckon it's definitely worth it
Do it!

Yeah, the service intervals would be a pain if you do a lot of miles. Luckily my Evo is a second car so it's not such a hassle.

The only time that I've measured my fuel consumption was on a recent 2,400 mile trip around Europe, a mix of fast autobahn and Alpine passes. The average for the trip was 21.6mpg (not too bad I thought). The best stint was while taking it really easy from Reims back home (had all day to get to the tunnel) when it managed 27.8mpg, which I was really impressed by. Worst stint was Bayreuth to Munich which was 90% autobahn, it only managed 14.6mpg However, I did see a GPS verified 162mph so I was happy Not bad for a 2 litre!
