(yes I understand the irony in posting on a forum where he is too - but he's at the pub and drunk so won't read this til tomorrow, by which time I'll have told him anyway.........Edit - scrub that - he's just called to say he's in a bar drinking with Nick Nowles(I'm not sure i want to know the why's and wherefores of that one )and him and the lads are going dancing..........he'll be comatose tomorrow then.....)

ANYWAY, the point of this thread?! I've just beaten one of these;

*BIG FOOK OFF GRIN*

Off the lights near me.....

I took my friend Kate home and we're pootling along, mind our own business, when we see this car ahead, not really taking any notice as from the rear it looks like some american slusho-matic, until we slow for the lights and I read what's on the rear;

FOOK me it's a new (2003) Skyline!! Not seen one in the flesh, so we get excited, pull along side and it's a blonde late 30's woman driver. Our hearts sank. So we pull away slowly, overtake and carry on to the next lights, move into the left lane (it's a dual carriageway) the passenger is a guy and he waves, turns, says something to the woman and Kate suddenly says, he's telling her to go for it! Go on - forget my turning she says, carry on!!!! Okay I think - I don't need telling twice! So we do - my launch was pretty terrible but my oh my the blonde bird does her best - and LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSES

Am I pathetic for posting my roadkill? :blush:
And yes I know it's only a 350Z with a bit more room in the back

Anyway, off to bed now to await the beer monster.

G'night x

Quality.

Mullered a boxster S on the way to VMax last Sunday. He was trying bless him and I was half trottle behind him until he pulled over (we started ~50mph). He went backwards from there until I turned off. Fun though.

I just nuked a corrado VR6 (lad I know driving it and he was trying).

Absolutely astonished me. After Wales I'd got around to thinking my car wasn't really that fast!

Guess switching back to a stock ECU was a good idea after all...

Mixing with fast cars does that to you.

Me and Iain were humbled at Vmax by the mighty 911TT's. The car felt dog slow after the DMS 996TT.

Very true. I'm starting to have dangerous thoughts about Pork.

you should try harder, or get a 6 speed

How far was it over, mine managed 182mph last year 0-1.2 miles with a boost leak.

please note I am basing my thoughts on shape and look as I know f all about engines
