mx5 power steering?

Help needed chaps, a work mate has just bought a mx5 for his wife, however she says the steering is too heavy, so we were wondering does anyone know of a aftermarket kit?

p.s. i think its his car really!!! lol

Sell it and get a Mk 2? I'm suprised the Mk1s didn't have it.......

Look into whether it's possible to retro install?

There were only a few UK MK1 models that did not have Power Steering - The 1.8i as opposed the 1.8iS that does have PAS, and the '94-'98 1.6 standard cars. They are usually cheap because of it... I would suggest trying to sell it on and get a nice import model.

PAS can be retro-fitted by a chap called Simon (Technocars) on 01565 873588. Cost is £350.
