I've been once, just to watch at the jap show they did last october, the queues to do a run were horrendous with people lining up for hours, no idea if this is reflective of a normal day or whether it was just massively busy that day, glad i'd decided not to do a run before I turned up as i'd have missed most of the rest of the show.

It's always hurrendously busy - been to the summer one and the autumn one - it's good to watch the 1/4 miles though - they always put Fireforce top fuel car on for show, there are often some interesting bikes as well as cars. Saw an RX7 blow up even before it launched last year!

We'll be going on Saturday with the track N/A MK1 MR2 (for a laugh) and the Supercharged MK1 MR2 (to see if we can beat IMOC's fastest 1/4 in a S/C MK1 ). It will be the first time am running on the strip so should be a comedy day!

Will also be there on the Sunday to see some of the tuner cars and support a mate who is reputed to be the current fastest UK privateer in a RX7 (11.001 at Rotorstock)

We had a pretty good weekend there. We ran the MK1 MR2's on Saturday. Best time in the SC got was 14.7 (worst 15.3) and the best time the N/A got was a 16.2 (worst 16.5). We managed 6 runs in each car and the times were all pretty consistant.

Bad part of the weekend started when Jame's Rex didn't want to start on Saturday before leaving for Pod. We finally got it going and he was running consistant 11.2's all day with a few flutters of smoke - but nothing one would normally worry about.
On Sunday morning he again had problems trying to start the beast to get to Pod. On route the car was smoking a fair bit and he had lost all boost. Turned out to be one of the hoses. Once there we saw complete failure of his engine as his seals gave in propper stylee on his first run in the Pro Class. I think he still managed an 11.something on the knackered engine

Some pretty good looking metal there and some very quick cars too. Was well impressed with the GT Art Skyline that managed a 9.93
