Last night I finally had to take off my lovely Remus Back box as it was cracked where the centre section pipe leads into the big silencer that goes across the back of the car.
Thought it was rather a large chunk of car to jettision unexpectedly at which ever poor sod happened to be following me at the time.
so it had to come off.
This meant putting the Piper (Spit!) backbox back on. I'd forgotern just how crap it was. The damned thing was covered in surface rust, so rubbed it down and repainted it. Then put it on the car.
To give it it's dues, it went on easily and it does sound nice but, it hangs down all wonky, very low and the exits from under the bumper clumsily. I did try to adjust it but, it wasn't having any of it.
So what I 'm asking is...
...does anyone out there have a decent back box for '89 1.6i-16 crx going crying at the back of the their garage, as I would love send the Pooper back into exile at the back of my stable whence it came.

...don't worry, there are no horses in our stable, unless the you count the 160 cooped up it the two engines lying around in there.
