350z GT4 - is this a good buy?

I've got my eye on a 2005 350z GT4. Is this a good buy, or will a 2006 model with the same power output and slightly newer be a better bet in the long term depreciation/reliability wise?

Any other tips/advice greatly received.

I would have thought you'd be better off with the GT4 one as it was a limited edition and likely to be worth a little bit more in a few years than a slightly newer bog-standard one. Is it in yellow?

I like the yellow but am wondering if it might attract the wrong kind of attention.

The GT4 only comes in Yellow or Black - I think black is definitely the one to have.

If you're going to modify it, i'd go for Yellow - would look great with some matt black alloys. If it's for everyday use then you can't beat black.
