I know it might be a bit close to the RR day, but anyone fancy karting?

If it's the outdoor track near Bristol that I attended recently - HELL YES!

(must pop into RR thread - I've double booked meself ops

www.westcountrykarting.co.uk

Alternatively Castle Combe has one - or indeed the Daytona one someone mentioned in another thread - I've not been there and heard good things!

I'd be up for it providing I'm around. Where you thinking? Milton Keynes Daytona is supposed to be quite good, I've never been there though, and it's central-ish for the south and midlands. The kart track at Thruxton is quite good too. Prefer outdoors to indoors though!!

I was thinking of trying for somewhere Southerly, cause I know how much you southern ponces like to moan.

Would Milton Keynes suit?

Milton Keynes would suit me... I'm technically still a Japchat member thanks to my £68 heap.

OOoo yes dependant on location and date, but yep I’m up for it. I don’t think Mliton Keynes is that far from me.

Must do.

I haven't been for ages! The MK circuit looks really good BTW - I had a look round a while back.

Not wishing to be pain but I would vote for heats/semis and a final as opposed to endurance.

Never actually taken part in endurance but the thought seems a bit boring. I might be wrong of course (usually am)

I did an Endurance race in April with some mates at Stretton 2000. It's actually very good. It was the first one i'd done, but very enjoyable. Gives you a good chance to natter with people while your waiting aswell. It's also a fair event.

I'd be interested in this - funds and timing permitting. Keep us all updated on plans & costs!

I'd sooner do the endurance. All that time in the seat lets you perfect your lines.

I'm concious that after 30 mins in a kart, Im pretty knackered.

Wouldn't it be better, as well as from the "social" aspect to have heats?

At least that way we can take the piss out of Gaz's driving from the 'safety' of the sidelines.

I'd be up this.

Any idea roughly on cost??

Although everyone else had better sign a disclaimer saying they wont take legal action against me after I punt them into the tyres
