hi all,

please can someone offer me sonme advice, i have a tein adj suspension kit on my 95 g-ltd mr2, the front left shock has become damaged has leaked all the oil out. Obviously needs relpacing. I am not sure what model the suspension kit is, but it is green and apparently desinged for the track, so i am told.

sorry its a bit vague, but i need to know if i can purchase a tein Shock absorber without the rest of the kit. Web searches have come to not a lot i am afraid.

any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Lee

All Teins are green chap Get your head under the rear strut, on the back will be a plate with the type & manuf number.
Then call Tein UK, in Milton Keynes- they very helpful & manage to do most service/repair work without sending back to Japan, & fairly resonable prices.

PMSL good one Flibbs. Hope you never live to see the day!

Not had any leaking probs with my set of ancient Tein HAs. The ride can be a bit ing harsh but damn fine roadholding esp on a good surface imo.

don't expect them to be any help.

recent reports from the people i know who are unfortunate enough to have been forced to deal with tein have been left pretty pi$$ed off at their substandard customer service.

Oooh tough GB, you have my sypathies. I can remember that sort of 'no mans land' betwwen ending a night shift & upto around mid-day, when your natural instinct tells you to be up but your body & mind are ed from the night before. (also applies to partying! )
