honda 1.5 vtec

im after any ideas on tuning,and what parts to source,its the vtec e engine,it has a very small throttle body on,but its the multi-point inj,any ideas please

I know a lot of people might have already said this to you but I wouldn't bother spending too much money on it .I'd rather save my money and get a vti.IMO I cannot see the point in trying to tune an engine unless it is the most powerfull available,it just seems to me that you're giving youself a lot more work to do.Anyway thats just my opionion sorry I wasn't more helpful

I would try Briston Performance, they do alot of Powerhouse Amuse products and other Honda tuning parts. Give them a try. www.bristonperformance.co.uk If not a remap would give u more power.

I spent a lot of time on Honda forums in the past and the bottom line appears to be you are wasting your time. The engine as featured in the LSi models is designed for ecconomy not power.

Save your cash and get an instant 60hp increase swapping in a B16 variant rather than spending the same money to get maybe 15-20hp trying to tune the engine already there.

Then again, all engines will take a turbo with a bit of effort....
