Looks tidy enough in the pics. You need more info though. Statements like "estimated 350+bhp" but with no indication or proof of how it got there always worry me a bit.

At the end of the day It Is A Buyers Market At Present.

depends what your after really...

as said, theres no description to whats been done, and estimated 350bhp+ isnt really helpful - have they just increased the boost pressure without strengthening the engine?

If i was you, i'd demand all the reciepts for the added parts, any copies of the labour for fitting (make sure its professional and not 'my mate around the corner'.

And dont forget, mods dont add to the value of the car, so dont pay about list for it, infact, as said above, its a buyers market, so drive a hard bargin!

realistically you can only get so much information in a small advert on here.
i tried to cover the important stuff when i listed one of my skylines up for sale here and didnt come close.
i'd be weary of the power figure none the less, unless it has some power runs to back the claim up. its not too hard a figure to achieve but it would require some fairly extensive work for it to be reliable and durable at that power.

Its the similar to my friends one, his is a later one made in 1999. He paid £10,000 I think for his when it had 50,000 miles, that was just over a year ago. The later ones where facelifted, the dash is different, its this dash instead . Also the ECU became reprogrammable in 1998, so if it did need a remap you wouldn't need a aftermarket ECU.

Mods have added value to my car. I can guarantee if it didn't have what it's got on it now, I would not be getting the offers I get.

Got to agree about estimated 350bhp+, you need proof of how it's running that.

Certainly evidence of reciepts is a very good indicator, but am inclined to take issue with dismissing any 'amateur/enthusiast/owner' work as poor, meaning: many of us must have encountered some terrible quality work done by so called professionals, whereas, a good enthusiast owner will almost certainly take painstaking care with home maintainance type jobs-it is after all his P&J that he/she has a vested interest in. You need to be able to judge cases on individual merit- or lack of
IMHO it is worth finding out as much as is politely possible about the owner as it is the car.
