It seems they have this desire to go ploughing all the time. There were two lads in it, and they got a standing ovation when they pitted.

Anyone else go to Japfest this weekend? We took the Silvia which acquitted itself really well.

Naaaa, he just wanted to go rallying, 's wot 't were built for innit?

seriously, it was deliberate right? because that looks like a particularly bad piece of driving if it wasn't. opposite lock? what's that?

Great series of 'scooby gathering hay' pics Al Rush
Do remember your Silvia going round

Andy, see the red GTO in the back-ground? Maaan he was scuicidal-but not not in a good way He took my vote for best prang of the day- the rescue mob had to repair the barrier wall after he'd bounced off it.

Considering it was my first ever time around castle coombe at 4pm!! made for a slightly interesting few learner laps, ie I just did what the other lads said who'd been there all weekend "all the big corners 4th or top end of 3rd gear, you'll be fine" so I did

I was there in the VR4. Got two track sessions which I thoroughly enjoyed, was about to go out in the final session with a friend driving the white R32 with green wheels when it broke! Doh!

Saw you doing a session Capt Sideways, nice car BTW. looks very different to the normal run-o-the-mill motors you see (no offence everyone)

The guys name is Simon, he does alot of tracking (7 sessions on Friday and 7 sessions on Saturday to name but a few!), and only live a few miles from Coombe, so...

The initial problem was the inner offside pad had gone to metal and welded itself in a fashion to the disc. He attempted to drive home only to realise the bearings were shot. He was eventually picked up by the fourth emergency service who got him home safely.

He's a thoroughly nice bloke who'll happily talk about his car if any of you see him.

Tuttle,

The Silvia amazed us with just how well she went.. hardly any roll and nice and sheddy. Not bad for a couple of K. Er, need new tyres though. Badly.

sounded good noticably louder than other 200's.
me and Tuttle noticed that when most of the 200sx's hit the track they did a couple of 'hot' laps, the seemed to drop the pace

Yeah, she did sound quite purposeful. As the basis for a project, she's a peach. Given that the plate had come off, we were worried about the Federale afterwards.

I saw it drive in, ouch. The 240's were really sweet.

Dale might be able to drive, but he does need a quick trim.

Both built for speed.

Nice..

Nice too..
