Depends what you have in mind, if you mean one of the existing RWYB days, just get a bunch of people to pick a date from the Santa pod calendar and just turn up.

Getting into the summer now so arrive by 9am latest to ensure you can all sign on and run, they only take the first initial 500 entries and then wait for the crowds to die down before letting more people on the track.

If you mean your own exclusive use of the strip for you and a bunch of friends, you need to ring them and find out costs, but it is all possible.

It was more the fact that it take 3 - 5 years to get *anything* organised for us!

Forget SP, get down to Shakespeare County

I've already been in negotiations about an SXOC drift day, and they've said that due to noise pollution they are limited to 30 action days a year, which are all taken, but for the public RWYB days, we could all turn up and get track action easily

Totally agree with Mr.Fibbles,no one on this site seems to be able to organise anything.

I'm sure all the Jap Chatters are aware that my comment was a tongue in cheek pisstake of ourselves. It wasnt an inflammatory remark, as you took it.

Again, I dont know the rules ar SP, but at Shakespeare county, it depends on the evnt thats been held.

eg, The Mini Showdown you get as many runs as you can fit in the day for about £15 + entrance fee, but for some of the more chavvier events usually £10-£15 will get you 2 or 3 runs with printouts.

But then those events you want to avoid for a number of reasons, one being that the 1.0 big bore crew take 22 secs per run, and spray the track with 30k mile old oil

I went to Santa Pod one saturday after a RR day. Rather annoyingly they had an RWYB the day after at exactly the time I turned up. Bit too much of a round trip so I missed out. Did ask what it'd cost though. £15 entry, £15 three runs. It was a jap day as well..

I'm supposed to be going to Santa Pod on the 25th June - anyone else going to be in the area?

Been challenged to a drag race by a friend of mine with a Mazda MX6...

Is anyone up for setting a date though? Or are two jap meets enough (Wales & Charlie)?

I'm not saying use the 25th BTW, that's just when I happen to be going...

Just a site sidestep, but some in the (my local) Northants section are thinking of going to the Pod (including some japs).

Maybe you could all go together and turn it into a p/h run day?
