According to this link;

www.crturbos.co.uk/cat_12.htm

Some supras use a CT20 turbo. What's the difference between that and the CT20b from the MR2?

TBH the specs are all messed up on there. The MKIV uses CT12B. The JDM have slightly different specs to the UKs and use a ceramic wheel.

As Terry says, that article is wrong.

It states that the MR2 Import 89 - 94 uses the CT20b and that the MR2 (non import presumably.... aren't all MRTs JDM only, or did they import to america?) 90 - 95 uses the CT26...

I was under the impression that 89 - 94 (end of rev 2's ) was CT26 and rev 32 onwards (94?) was ct20b.....

Yeah AFAIK whilst the US did get the MR2 turbo, they all were supplied with the CT26. The only cars with the CT20B be are the Rev3+ MR2's and certain GT4 celicas.

Cheers for that guys. I was searching on IMOC for something and found a thread about someone adapting a supra turbo to fit in an MR2 mk1.5 (mk1 MR2 with the 3S-GTE). Thought it looked interesting so I've been doing some reading.

Bet a (suitably tweaked) 3S-GTE powered MK1 would be insane...
