I lifted this into here from the 172/CTR debate, 'cos I figured it would be worthy of comment from other CTR owners.

"Six months old, zero traction, especially in the wet. Zero grip. Tons of understeer. Numb, dead steering. Joke tyre wear: 4000 miles for the fronts, hence eight new ones so far. Both front seats squeak loudly all the time. Radio is useless. Damper went after 5000 miles, dash rattles, drinks oil, noisy everywhere, especially on the motorway, bumpy ride, paint flaked off everywhere, impossible to resell because nobody can insure it....No wonder people are buying diesels."

I would love to know how they managed to destroy a set of fronts in 4000 miles. I got 21,000 out of my fronts and I wasn't hanging around (25 miles of country B roads into work most mornings).

Ive managed to get through the bridgestones in under 8000 miles, a bit worrying. The wear was mostly on the offside shoulder due to roundabouts etc. Now have Yokohama a539's, much better!

I'm not sure how much my first service cost because it's a leased company car and I didn't get to see the bill.
I know they fixed a rattle on the driver side front speaker and an intermittant exhaust rattle (at the manifold if you'd been driving at speed for long periods - god bless the A50!!).
I did ask about replacement tyres, but when it came to it the lease company wanted Michellin, couldn't get them and I got Bridgestone again.
It will be going for it's second service sometime in February, so I'll probably ask to see the charges this time.
