Import Civic type-R

Hi all, I'm looking to buy a Civic type-R shortly. The prices in some of the ads seem on the low side. Does this mean they are likely to be imports? My preference is for a UK car so I was keen to know the obvious differences. Presumably they have the "suare" rear plate?

The lower prices might be explained by the fact that there are now lots of CTRs on the market. They no longer have the rarity so their value has been diluted. I had a quick look on Autotrader and the cheapest is about £8K.

All I know of the JDM CTR is that it has a higher output of 220hp and that you can get them in white.

Thats what I was hoping it would be. It seems crazy that the dealers are trying shift 30k cars for 14grand when the used market is so much better. I know where I'll be looking. Thanks for the response.

I thought in the case of CTR's the JDM was actually worth more money?
