Regular Japchatters will probably be familar with me whinging on about my dodgy tacho. Anyway, been waiting for a replacement OE tacho since late last summer & out of the blue it turned up this morning & it seems to work! Way-hey! But, as is usual with these things, that's the easy bit. Putting all the dash/switchgear components back in is a right royal fiddly fer

God help me when I have to do exactly the same soon! :-(

Perhaps I'd be better off trying to find a complete binnacle...

yup done that with something before DOH! Sure makes you wish that you had a forward bending knee, so that I could kick myself in the arse
If you look at the right hand clock,I stuck a bit of brown tape on one corner to make sure I didn't just put the old one back in.
In order to get the binnacle out nearly all dash componants/switches as far over as & incl the centre console had to come out
