Was sent an eMail today from supplier Japan stating that Apexera/Apexi had gone into receivership. Also that most remaining stock was being held onto for the Japanese home market & that long delays & large price increases for all Apexi products were to be expected for the export market. I did get a delivery of largely apexi stuff on Fri last week but it would have been dispatched late previous week or early last week.

So, has one of our favourite performance toy makers gone through the hoop? I've not been able to find anything but speculation from searches.
Anyone have any info?

With regard to stock, this may be a knee-jerk reaction. I would imagine that there is probably more than was initially thought, once things have settled down & Japanese suppliers realise that they actually have a ton of stuff (esp electrics) it will start to move again @ inflated prices........or not.

That's bad news but at least the Motec is becoming a reasonable alternative for the 7 - off the shelf loom now and my fave mapper has enough experience of them now to be safe!

I'm thinking that this has not happened. Despite much trawling of the interweb (inc financial sites) I have not been able to find any concrete evidence. Also I have had Apexi stuff come in this week, with no probs or price changes.
Appologies to all
