Now, I know we all love our current steeds dearly, but which car(s) are you thinking about trying next and why? Which floozy repeatedly catches your eye as your drive past and tempts you to be unfaithful to your beloved?

Here's my list in no particular order:

MR2 turbo - with so many japchatters raving about them, you can't all be wrong!

Integra Type R - just to experience one of the great engines of our time.

Glanza V - a turbo'd featherweight for those hot-hatch thrills.

well the RX7 won't be going anywhere!
However I would like an FD (3rd Gen) RX7 as a daily driver!
quite fancy an R32 GTR, a Supra TT or possibly another Scooby STi (a type R this time)

Well.... I'd really like to be able to say something more 'exotic' but I have developed this thing for 1.8 Arizona MX5's with an lsd-possibly force fed in time

'Teg R is a very good choice Wedge, really like the old shape 'whiteys', hold their value too.

Ohh, now theres a question
RX7 is high on the list, but so too a Supra...
i've often been tempted to change the FTO for a MR2 Turbo, just because it has more power
having been out in a 'teg, i do love them, as i do a facelift FTO aero....
soo may choices, i've even come close to buying a '86 UR Quattro, but it was sold before i made my mind up

A friend of mine is thinking of selling his '86 UR Quattro if you're intersted??

Anyway, to keep the post relevant, having only just bought the 200sx, hopefully my next car is at least a year away, but if I were to change I'd like to think the shortlist would look something like this:

106 GTi (with throttle bodies & coilovers )
R32 Skyline
Supe
Caterham 7 type thing (locost, westfield, tiger etc)
S1 Elise
Vauxhall Monaro (now thats a car!!!)
E39 BMW 540 Touring

Where do you go when you have a 600+ bhp R32 GTR? (It's for sale, btw )

Not really thought about it.

May well sell the green silly-car and buy something sensible. I'd like to say a Galant VR4 estate, but it's more likely to be an A6 Avant TDi.

'teg R WILL be revisited at some point...because it's so effing good!

FD3 is tempting, although could be pocket-emptying
VX220/Elise is also on the list for when I'm rich and selfish enough and have a fun car for day-to-day.

Always hankered after driving an Evo...will wait until i've driven before I know whether I want to own.

And the M-Coupe looks the mutt's and sounds it too...can forgive an average chassis with that combination.

Well the MX5 is going nowhere but the scooby just doesn't get used properly. Been thinking of swapping it for something cheaper to run/insure that'll give me some pennies back, hot hatch like a clio172 or something - only get used when I need more than 2 seats....

Hopefully a MR2 NA T-Bar (Hopefully on a R/S plate, Rev 3 or above)

That or an earlier Turbo but I think the insurance would be too expensive (Will be 23 with 4 years NCD when I start looking in the summer)

The 200 is staying until it falls apart, going to use it as a track day/drift car plus daily driver so that probably won't be long!

Hoping to get a Caterham in the garage and also very tempted to buy a cheap off-roader for a bit of mud slinging.

Quite possibly a Mk3 Supra 2.5l TT.

Have to find an insurance company that believes it exists and doesn't want all my limbs in payment first though

Can't see me changing the FD for anything. Too addicted to it and put too much hard-earned into it to feel right about it. It'll change into a neo-racer over the next 2 years anyway as I track it more.

Pipe dreams would be to pop a sequential box in there, strip it out, cage, uprated diff and stick a bridg-ported medium single in there. Awesome noise and ~500bhp with < 1100kg weight. Mmmm. Then enter it in Britcar

Just can't imagine having anything else.

I sometimes think about the ultra-aggresive 'liner looks but it's not a pretty car. None of the fwd cars really float my dingy either.

In lottery land though - I could see me driving an Aston or Lambo (or other 4wd italian supercar). I'd still have the FD though.

hmmmm......

Scooby STi-RA V-ltd would be current pick. (~300hp, C-R 'box, DCCD, lightweight spec etc)

though have also considered the 2-car route, practical wagon and light/RWD fun/impractical 2nd car( 200sx/mr2 etc)

the wagon will probably stay for the next 2 years until I finish uni though.

Ah, I knew I'd forgotten one off my list! After a couple of 'grown up' cars, I'm definitely hankering after something stripped-out and basic.

Good call on the quattro too, love those beasties.
