Forester 2.5XT

Has any one driven the latest Spec Forester 2.5XT ? My wife is due to change her car(Passat 130 Tdi Sport Est) later on this year.As it won't be a high milage car I would like to know what sort of fuel consumption to expect? We also have two Golden Retrievers so boot space needs to be fairly good.
The though of having a 4x4 with the same power as my UR quattro, is a bit scary.

I've test driven it. It's ballistic for a 4x4 not quite as fast as the P1 but definitely in a comparable league.
The boot space is very good - width and length are around the same as my discovery with the seats down, sorry didn't take too much notice of the space with the seats up.
Fuel economy will not be great. The 2.5 flat boxer engine guzzles when the turbo spools up in the same way that the Impreza does. My guess is you're talking around 22 mpg average?
