I'm sure I read somewhere that the life expectancy of a set of fronts for my CTR would be around 9k. Clicking over 20k and still 3mm right across I'm questioning whether I'm trying hard enough, and at the same time considering what I should go for by way of replacement rubber.
Favourites would seem to be the Bridgestones that it came with, but with winter rolling in, are they really the best choice (given that they struggle when they're cold).
I guess this is a question open to anyone with a FWD car with a bit of poke, thoughts on the best tyres to go for anyone?

I had an Accord Typr r and repalced the original Bridgestone re010s on the front with Yoko AVS sport (front tyre life was indeed around 9000 miles and reare around 14000). I was very disappointed as they spoilt the turn in and lacked precisiona and wet grip.
If you can stick with Bridgestones (SO2s are also a good aftermarket tyre, based on experience with my Alpine). I've heard good things about Goodyear Eagle Fis and Toyo T1s, but have no experience
Whatever, enjoy them, you'll have the opportunity to change hem againsoon enough!

Mine only lasted 8000 miles with no track days. Was a bit concerned about this, replaced them with Yokohama A539's much better I think.
Dont know if I had hit a kerb and thrown the tracking out but the left shoulder on the offside front was nearly bald when I changed them. Anyone else had this?
