As an Out-an'-out racer I agree,I'm besotted by the Mines beasties.
Credit where it's due tho. The longevity/drivability thing is very good with the GTArt boys. A year or two ago they drove 3 of their gtr's from UK to the N'burgring, had a full days racing & drove back. No probs (bar tyres),I imagine even the normally bomproof RB26DETT gets a little 'brittle' tuned above 5-600bhp.

Just thought I'd post another vid for any fans of that Mine's BNR34 that I managed to dig up.

http://videos.streetfire.net/search/m

Puts its performance into perspective somewhat and is still competitive with full-on race cars which I find astounding.

(Search has been playing up for me so I couldn't find the other topic where this car was mentioned)

Yep, the Pro-spec car has a complete Mines engine.

It's currently for sale as well, £42k which is a bargain really given the mods it has.

Do you surf the GT-R register Neil? Via some googling this site appears to provide much of the information surrounding these cars. Still can't find any info relating to the spec of the engines re: Mine's. Would the engine from that V-spec Nur that they had be identical to the engine in that white BNR34 demonstator?

Yep I pop onto there every now and again.

I think the engines are the same, or at least very similar.

Mine's Complete Engine

The GTR RB26 complete engine most made the response important, the data which the long time crossing was continued to take many was fed back even in the specifications of the constitution part and completed.
Maximum of 480 horsepower (BNR34 N1 turbine) stage I of specification,
Maximum of 580 horsepower (the GT2530 turbine) stage II of specification was prepared.
Stage I Price including tax: ¥1,365,000
Substance price: (¥1,300,000)
Stage II Price including tax: ¥1,890,000
Substance price: (¥1,800,000)

Democar:
The highest output 600ps/7400rpm

Largest torque 60kgm/5400rpm

Supercharging pressure (boost) 1.4kg/cm2

Best thing to do is ask on gtr.co.uk - Shin is a member on there and would answer any questions you have about it

I can't see the original video, google keeps saying it can't be shown.
Is there any other way to see it? what was the search criteria?

Thankyou very much Neil, I've developed a bit of an interest in GT-Rs for a while now especially with regards to their capability.

With a bit more reading it turns out that the black Nismo car that Dirk drives is neither a V-Spec II, nor is it a Nur. Naughty Shin for putting those badges on there!

For a while, I thought those cars possessed the Nismo Z-tune engine (not sure of the internal designation code) but it seems they have the Mine's stage 2 engine. All very confusing! Does seem like a fantastic car anyway though.

Again, thanks for the input. Appreciate it.

Keith,

The clip appears to have disappeared off google video. I searched for 'best motoring' originally but it may be available under other search criteria. I'll have a look.

Really not sure which vid I posted now but pretty sure it wasn't that one. I think it was a black HKS GT-R of some description. The 'driving performer' or some such.

you're talking about the HKS street performer. with the HKS V cam system installed.
very fast car indeed. not as quick though as the Mine's GTR.

i think Shin can get away with nismo stickers on his car seeing as who he is n all...
